Transferring years’ worth of blog posts from WordPress to Shopify or BigCommerce is a manual process, and one that is not without challenges as far as data quality, formatting, and search engine optimization is concerned.

You have a Yahoo! Store, use the built-in WordPress blog, and are moving to another eCommerce platform:

We recommend you continue to use WordPress.  Your Store Wizards can:

• Set up new WordPress hosting*
• Migrate blog posts from your old WordPress blog to your new one
• Transfer existing WordPress plug-ins to your new installation
• Create a custom WordPress theme^ to match the look of your eCommerce store

You have a Yahoo! Store, use a separately hosted (GoDaddy, HostGator, etc) WordPress blog, and are moving to another eCommerce platform:

We recommend you continue to use WordPress.  Your Store Wizards can:

• Create a custom WordPress theme^ to match the look of your eCommerce store and enable it on your existing WordPress blog and hosting.

You have a Yahoo! Store, are moving to another eCommerce platform, and would like to start fresh with a new blog:

We recommend you use the built-in blog for your new platform.

Your Store Wizards WP2WP (WordPress to WordPress) Migration Service
Our WP2WP Migration Service offers Yahoo! Store owners an easy way to keep using the WordPress platform for their blog after a platform migration.  As part of the service, we will:

• Create a custom WordPress theme^ that matches the look of your new/existing eCommerce store
• Migrate all existing WordPress plug-ins (if changing hosting provider)
• Migrate all existing blog posts, pages, comments, and feedback (if changing hosting provider)

This package does not include design hours.  Our team of programmers will use existing design elements taken from your eCommerce store and use those to build your new custom WordPress theme.  If design services are needed, an hourly rate, or the purchase of a block of design hours, will apply.

*WordPress requires web hosting services from a 3rd party.  
^The custom WordPress theme created by Your Store Wizards will include existing design elements taken from your eCommerce store.  If design is needed, additional charges apply.  We will program your blog to include the same features currently available in your existing blog and will migrate over any WordPress plugins currently used.  Custom programming of features such as mega navigation, or expanding navigation menus are not included.  Implementation of additional features not currently available in the existing blog will incur additional hourly charges.
